Mazda has carried out a preview of the new CX-5, the first model to be built from scratch based on the new design language KODO and SKYACTIV latest technology.

The first compact SUV from the Japanese brand design language debut KODO ("Soul in Motion '). This new language is responsible for the emergence of a new front grille with wing 'signature' and the elegant, flowing lines that make up the CX-5 and should serve as a basis for future models of Mazda.

The new Japanese model also has SKYACTIV technology (engines, transmissions, chassis and body) that allows the brand to claim emissions of 119 g / km and fuel consumption of 4.5 l/100 km for the 2.2 diesel engine 150 hp. With prices starting at 31,000 euros (2011), the CX-5 arrives in April next year.
